24/7 Lights out Production
RICO injection molding production runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At RICO, however, only the machines work at night. From 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. we produce in so-called "ghost shifts".
The ghost shift means that no people are present in our production facilities at night, and that parts production is completely unmanned. perfectly coordinated processes during the day enable us to produce the familiar RICO quality even at night.
We see Lights Out Production as an important seal of quality for our technological expertise. It requires a high degree of coordination and quality standards. Only perfectly matched tools make it into our series production. Our aim is to produce perfect part quality and not just to ensure quality through 100% inspection of finished parts.
