Movember at RICO Group
At RICO, we care about the health of our employees - which is why we used this year's Movember to raise awareness of important issues relating to men's health.
The term Movember is a combination of moustache and November and is a global movement that draws attention to diseases that particularly affect men - including testicular cancer, prostate cancer and mental health.

Informative event with our company doctor
A central component of our Diversity & Inclusion department initiative was a comprehensive information event at which our company doctor provided information on early detection, symptoms, risk factors and prevention options for testicular cancer and prostate cancer.
The often underestimated topic of mental health was also highlighted: How do I recognize warning signs? How do I talk about them? And how can we support each other?
The response was impressive - 40 men from our company actively took part. The open, honest exchange and the great interest clearly showed how important these topics are.
"Grow a Mo" competition with a lot of commitment
In addition to the informative part, there was also plenty of fun to be had: As part of our internal "Grow a Mo" competition, many colleagues grew their moustaches to send a visible signal for the campaign.
With humor, creativity and a lot of team spirit, a strong symbol of cohesion and awareness was created.
We are proud of everyone who got involved - whether through their contribution in the workshop or through their courageous, sometimes even extremely creative moustache. Together we have sent out a clear signal: Men's health concerns us all.
